Florentina (Tina) is a talented Cyber Security professional brining more than six years of industry experience working for several reputed companies in Silicon Valley. Currently, Tina works as a Security Analyst at Facebook, protecting Facebook’s most sensitive data and corporate infrastructure. She leverages her digital forensics, investigation and data analysis skills to solve complex cases on a daily basis. Another big part of her role is improving detection systems and response capabilities to mitigate and defend against threats. Previously, she has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a Forensics Technology consultant and has over three years of consulting experience specializing cybercrime investigations, digital forensics, data analytics, malware analysis and e-discovery. During her time at PwC, she investigated highly sophisticated APT attacks for various technology manufacturing clients whose networks had been compromised. She performed digital forensics to identify entry vector/exploit, attacker TTPs, lateral movement and data exfiltration. Additionally, she led cybercrime investigations and incident response for retail clients whose network had been compromised and customer data was stolen, and performed computer and memory forensics, data exfiltration quantification, analysis of payment cards, and detailed forensic reporting, among many other projects. Tina’s work has been featured on several prestigious tech magazines. Tina holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science alongside minors in Mathematics and Business Administration from Texas Lutheran University. Tina is passionate about technology, security and business, and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Stanford University.
